So I (in my head) placed a number on them all, used a random number generator and got the number 4. Then behind you is a map with 6 places you can travel to. You go in the hatch and you're in a small room, there's a chest with a note telling you what to do and a key. Then in the Riverwood trader under the stairs is a hatch.
So what I did was made my character and ran through helgen, still in my rags picking up no equipment on the way.
